A long time ago in Africa, monkeys and lemurs lived together. As the monkeys grew in number, the lemurs had no choice but to search for a place of their own. And so they found an island near Africa, in the Indian Ocean. Now, its name is Madagascar. This is where the lemurs used to live, dance, celebrate, eat, and sleep, unaware of what was lurking in the jungle.

The puppet show is addressed to preschool children. The story is inspired by Andrea Antinori’s book The Lives of Lemurs.
